Sheffield Wednesday Football Club is proud that Hillsborough Stadium was a chosen venue for the 1966 Football World Cup and EURO 96 Finals and several international football teams used our training facilities for those events.Further, our training facilities were also used by teams competing in the World Student Games in 1991.
