The practice and research of sports medicine in Sheffield is well-established within the University of Sheffield, the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, and at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield.
Dr Simon Till, consultant physician in Sports Medicine is attached to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, and is also Chair of the British Association of Science and Exercise Medicine (BASEM). Sorts Medicine support services are also provided to the elite athlete programmes at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield by Dr Till and fellow sports physician Dr Richard Higgins.
