Ponds Forge International Sports Centre is the largest and best-specified diving pool in Great Britain. It has springboards at 1m and 3m, and platforms from 1m to 10m. As a training and competition facility it is unparalleled in the UK.
As for major events hosted, Sheffield recently staged the British Grand Prix and will host the FINA World Series in August-September 2007. It is a pool of world renown, and is used by athletes from all over the world.
