The British Volleyball Federation High Performance Office is based in Sheffield at the English Institute of Sport. Sheffield is also the home of the GB men and GB Women's indoor programmes.
England Volleyball has used Sheffield as the centre for their National Development Programme for number of years.
Since hosting the World Student Games (1991) the City has hosted over 100 International Volleyball matches and become a regular location for national and international events.
