Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield Arena, Hillsborough Leisure Centre and the recently opened All Saints Sports Centre have all hosted International Volleyball fixtures and are regularly used for training / preparation camps for the Great Britain Volleyball Teams.
This concentration of facilities is unrivalled in the UK and provides an ideal setting for Volleyball matches and training.
In a addition to the facilities the City has a core of knowledgeable staff experienced in the delivery of Volleyball events and the services required to support them.

- World Student Games 1991 Volleyball Tournament for Men and Women
- English Volleyball Association National Volleyball Cup Finals on 10 occasions
- World Championships Qualifying Round 1 in 2005
- England v Latvia Volleyball International
