The venue comprises of five distinct areas:
- Indoor Athletics Hall with 6 lane track, 132m sprint straight and throwing area
- Three court international multi-sports hall
- Judo and Boxing Halls with permanent mats and rings
- Multi purpose training hall
- Badminton performance centre with special flooring and innovative lighting
These areas consist of specific international specification facilities for: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Fencing, Gymnastics (Rhythmic and Artistic), Trampolining, Handball, Judo, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Weightlifting and Wrestling.
The venue fully meets the Paralympic guidelines for Athletics, Boccia, Goalball, Judo, Powerlifting, Table Tennis, Volleyball (Sitting), Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Fencing and Wheelchair Rugby.
On site support services are extensive including; a full olympic weights room; state-of-the-art cardio vascular conditioning suite; sauna, steam room and spa pool; purpose built areas for medical treatment, physiotherapy and doping control. Private offices are also provided to facilitate squad management, meetings and international communications.
